Hermanus Leads The Way Ahead Of 2010

EThekwini Municipality's Durban Tourism Unit launched the 2010 Fan Centre last week, writes SA Tourism Update.

The centre, which is situated at the beachfront, boasts an impressive array of services which include the Tourist Information Centre, a Police Station, an Internet cafĂ©, a lost and found facility and a Consul Office where international visitors can have assistance with problems such as lost travel documents. It will be operational 24 hours a day. There is a traders’ market where one can buy arts and crafts. A marquee is set up with chairs and tables to serve as a hang-out spot and eatery. Tour operators have also set up at the precinct to make their services readily available.

The Fan Centre's purpose is to be a one-stop shop for tourists to experience the warmth of the city.

Sounds to me like they have taken a peek at our new Info Kiosk in Hermanus.
